ABOUT DULUTH
Downtown Duluth is less than 2 miles from the Property. Duluth was formally named in 1871 when Congress funded a railroad to the area. For many years Duluth was a small town in rural Georgia with its economy being based upon agriculture and the railroad. As Atlanta’s suburbs grew, Gwinnett County and Duluth grew with it. The 1970’s and 1980’s saw tremendous growth, mainly residential, with Atlanta’s expansion. Today Gwinnett County is the second most populous county in the State of Georgia with a population of 983,526. Duluth has a population of 32,350. The growth has balanced out to include retail, industrial, and office along with continued residential.

Duluth has been beautifully rehabilitated and redeveloped into a thriving Downtown area. The downtown has a large town green and a very active downtown development authority. Activities abound for many different tastes and activities. There are concerts, the arts, special events, classes, restaurants, shops, and much more for the nearby residents. Duluth truly is a place where one can live, work, and play all in their own community.
